s1795so2 Posted February 7, 2007 Author Report Posted February 7, 2007 I am talkin amperage and watts, volts really mean nothing to me as all I will be using it for is my power wire for my system, and if my system is running off of 600 volts let alone 20 I have got a problem. s1795so2 Posted February 8, 2007 Author Report Posted February 8, 2007 Disdatchevyboy, Why dont you look up some welding cable suppliers websites, some of them say that they only carry 178 amps, and some of them say nothing for amp capacity. Dont you think I would've searched before I asked a question like that. Not to mention that welding cables strand count is like 1600 for their 2/0 and car audio 1/0 has like 4000 strands (only because it is smaller wires inside I know) but sometimes stuff like that has something to do with it.
