99GPGTX
the problem is... BTL hooked up to autotek 3000.1 Empire audios x4 hooked up to autotek 100.4 with tbi hdss tweets when i have everything on mids highs and woofer when i play for example (Put on) it cuts out at a curtain part in the song...even at 25/31 i looked at the trunk and saw that it would cut out and the amps would turn off then back on... i know the 100.4 needs to get repaired (one channel is messed up) when i have just the mids and highs on with woofer off everything is fine... today however my jank stinger volt meter has been reading some abnormally low numbers. usually i see 14.2- 14.7, this morning volt meter is going every... from like the high 12's to the 14's...im going to get a multi meter and check the voltage from the amp. anyone know why it cuts out when i turn the volume up? and how do i fix it??? I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.

creyc
That does sound like a low voltage issue, particularly because it's fine with the bass amp off. If this setup has been working in the past my first suspicion would be of a big 3 wire came lose, or the charge wire has a bad connection on the alt, or the alt has one bad leg. Because there are three diodes, you may not realize it at first when your alt is going out... Team_DC-Derrick
it is possible one of your speakers are blown, i had a similar problem with my highs amp as one of my highs were blown and it was shorting out the amp, go thru your mid/high amp and take each speaker out at a time and play the song to see if it does it. Mikesmith0890
i dont think it'd be his mid or highs since its only his bass amp thats doing it.. which is hooked up to a single 12" btl.. which wangs btw lol i think its a bad ground connection somewhere.. only thing i can think of Quote AlphaDamp Sound Deadening CDL Mat - The best Vibration Damper Ever!
