RUGERJITSU
So, me and my buddy are gonna build a sealed box for two E8's. It will fit under the rear seat of my 97 Silverado ExtCab. I'm just wandering if there's any of you who have built a similar box, or if there are some designs somewhere where I can get some help from. fyi, the 8's will be run by a ZX1500.
AI James
your comfortable putting 750 each one them? were these upgraded in some way, as i was under the impression the spiders wouldnt hold up to that kinda abuse
Torres
i really hope he doesnt put 750 to each...i wouldnt put over 300. i saw a thread (i think it was from jacob) that put 400 watts on em and said that's pretty much the limit. and that was 400 watts from a guy who knows well what he's doing. RUGERJITSU
okay, they were built by a guy over at caraudio.com...woofercooker. we will also begin adjusting the gain at zero and go from there...and, as far as putting more than 300 watts to them, check this out... AI James
correct the amps rated 1200 at 2ohm 2500 at 1ohm Edited February 27, 2009 by James
wL<3bass
Also you kicker amp is underrated and may do around 1600-1700wrms.....they arent going to last....a 750.1 would be pushing it for two of them..... RUGERJITSU
correct the amps rated 1200 at 2ohm 2500 at 1ohm so, they're taking 600 a piece?? look, i realize my amp will be overpowering these subs....but i paid $100 for the pair, and i wanna see what they'll do! but, back on topic...any box builders out there have some helpful advice on the box??
