What Is Your Favorite Audio Brand And Why?

Recommended Posts

OK, so i would like to here what you guys consider your favorite audio brand. NOT which is the loudest or the most powerful, but what you have had the best experience with or has sentimental value to you or whatever.

My favorite is Pioneer and Fosgate. Pioneer because i can setup even there lowest end deck to my liking, and it was one of my first deck. Fosgate because no matter what i put them through they never crap out on me. Plus there small but with balls.

Remember i haven't tried every brand out there and im pretty sure that my opinion will change down the road, but so far these have been very faithful products.

Headunit/source: Always been a Pioneer fan, had Alpine & Eclipse units in the past but always end up back with a Pioneer unit.

Amps: Soundstream. Specifically Oldschool first gen Tarantula series. I've had many others in the past but these are by far my favorite. Others include: Alpine, Pioneer, Kicker, Jbl, Xtant & Macintosh.

Subs: Such a wide range of great subs it's really hard to choose a favorite. Right now going with Soundstream Reference R1-15's

Speakers: Same responce as with the subs.

Processors: Audiocontrol...'nuff said.

Wire/cable: Tsunami

Interconnects: Monster Cable

Power distro: Whoever has what I need, as long as it's not crap.

Sound Control: Second Skin

Batteries: XS or Kinetik...both are great in my opinion. :aggressive:

My overall favorite brand is DC, because bass is my favorite part of a sound setup and my favorite bass instrument is the DC audio sub! Rusty provides the best customer service in the business IMO, and you can't beat the quality of his products.

im a fan of pioneer for source and jbl for power/sound

but audiocontrol overall, i dont even have any of their stuff in my ride, but on slow days i'd read manuals just so i know product like the back of my hand

audiocontrol has the best manual ever. not in car audio, not in electronics, in the entire friggin world.

gems like "do not get wet, incinerate, deep fry, or saute"

"this device features a 21 band 1/3 octave eq, if you do not know what that means, please pack it back in the box and return it to your authorized audiocontrol dealer"

every manual has like 20 or 30 silly little jokes in it, i love it. not to mention all the stuff works like its supposed to, and works forever flawlessly, i dont think i've ever seen a single audiocontrol piece be returned or warranteed.

monster/rockford/kicker/stinger cables, pioneer source, jbl highs/amps, kinetik/shuriken batts, iraggi alt, dei security, dc subs(atleast for now)

Source, first would be pioneer, then eclipse and alpine third.

Amps, kicker by far.... have never let me down no matter how bad I abuse them.

Subs, Fi/AA are good for the cash.

Wire, Kicker wins that again, Hyperflex FTW.

Batts, Kinetik use to be... but have started to let me down.

Head Unit: Pioneer DEH-P6000UB

Sub Amp:American Bass VFL 500.1

Subs: 4 Fi BL 18's

Enclosure:21.5 Cubic foot flat wall tuned to 40 hz

Batteries: 3 Kinetik 2400's in the back, Kinetik 1200 under hood.

Mids & Highs: 4 Kicker DS 6.5 coax in doors, 2 Kicker DS coax in pillars

Highs Amp: Kicker kx250.2, kx100.2

Wire: 4 Runs 1/0 gauge Knukonceptz

Subs are like titties, They need to come in pairs because ones and threes are just wrong, and larger amounts will always draw a crowd, we all have our favorite sizes, but the bigger ones are more fun to watch move. :D

i'm a sundown man for amps and subs. great products, badass customer service. for head units, i'm still lookin. i've had trouble with pioneer, kenwood, and alpine (tho the alpine one i got was messed up with to begin with, bought it used). those three were flip out monitors. next i wanna try a clarion, alpine w205, or eclipse double din. i'll probably get a clarion unit next
