how often do ya shoot at night? I understand the whole intruder in the house at night, but I figure my alarm clock is actually bright enough and the close range of in home defense sorta makes it easy to get a good point and shoot tactic. If I am home and my wife is there with me, anybody in my house while we are sleeping is game... as long as no guests are staying with us.

What ever you use it for, it is still a cool gadget. I have seen a ad for the side mount laser, I may go that route....

it all depends how you use it. pitch dark can be on your side with the right training tactics, also the light plays an important roll as well. gain my visability while blinding an intruder. all in all, i purchased it for the fact that...............................you never know when you'll need it.

thanks,

james

I guess the blinding thing is true, I have a rechargeable Stinger stream light, keep it in the charger in the FJ, and that damn thing is hella bright, I wouldnt dare shine it in anyone's eyes directly.

I was thinking something more like this

lasers are a horrible ad on IMO (and many law enforcment entities) as you are concentrating on trying to make the little dot go where you want I am already getting the 3 shots off needed to "disable" my foe just get some good night sites and practice practice practice!

Some people need a sympathetic pat... on the head...with my hammer

thats very true roscoe. it might be good if your trying to shoot someone in a huge house where you can hide and scope them out. but they are gonna notice the red beam and move and whatnot.

And far as the best connection ever.......

get a huge fucking battery, cut the top off, drop an alt in there and then pour all that into your big amplifier. or just smelt them all together.

Lasers are also terrible at actually learning marksman ship skills, to many people use it as a crutch rather than really learning how to shoot accuratly...
