slugdub Posted March 17, 2009 Report Posted March 17, 2009 Anyone ever concerned about crossing into other countries and having their sub box, etc torn apart? The only reason I think of this is because I used to totally put, uh 'things' inside my ported box when I was scetched out about transporting them. Never has been searched when I was pulled over either. Its abitch getting them out and now I would never do it because of possible damage, but yeah.

uhoh_45 Posted March 17, 2009 Report Posted March 17, 2009 well if you had "things" back there and say some got out and are still in your box you could get fucked over nothing but for the most part i remember someone telling me if you make a documented "build log" going over the boarder (this if if you have a wall) they wont ripp it apart without probable cause R.I.P! slugdub Posted March 17, 2009 Author Report Posted March 17, 2009 The idea was not that I do this at all. Currently. The idea is, again, to avoid having your shit torn apart when crossing the border. A build log is a good idea indeed. That explains how people accomplish this.
Boon Posted March 17, 2009 Report Posted March 17, 2009 Make your port big enough that they can stick their head in and have a look If not their entire body, lol. 10.x volts fo' life!
Applejack Posted March 17, 2009 Report Posted March 17, 2009 i was pulled over here when i had a bandpass box the cop tilted it and shone his light in it. but i dont know about crossing a border. my teacher (canadian) in high school told me about her friend crossing the border joking around about having firearms tucked in every cubby of the vehicle to the police, apparently they didn't find it very funny cuz his car was in pieces not to long later. I'd say your best bet is to just leave your woofers out until you reach your destination and put them in when you get there.
