slugdub Posted March 17, 2009 Report Posted March 17, 2009 I don't see many people with grills on, but I want to protect my CVR's and really like the look of those older Kicker 05G12. It seems like they fit underneath the speaker edge though, so how do you install them onto an enclosure? http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_3840_Kicker+05G12.html

I guess I'm just confused because it seems it adds extra width to the sub.
Team_DC-Derrick Posted March 17, 2009 Report Posted March 17, 2009 no, you have the sub mounted already, take 4 screws out, and place the grill up against it, and screw it in The DC Integra 3 18s to 6 15 build log Team_DC-Derrick's Youtube Team DC Audio where theres a will theres a wall....... BanginOnABudget Posted March 17, 2009 Report Posted March 17, 2009 UPS is horible but not as bad as fedex. i ordered a 12" PR series from memphis, when i got it they had even damaged the MAGNET. looked like someone had kicked in the cone. but yea, the grill mounts to the face of the sub, you dont have to un-install it, i think. :x im taking out my passenger seat, battery is disconnected, going to unwire and take out the three amps, take out the 70+ lb box, then the platform so i can crimp 1 wire. Almost as bad as those fegs that put those horns in their grills and roll down the street distorting the block.... 1990 Jeep Cherokee 2 Dr. Big-3 in 0g on Stock Alt.
