Guest reestblazer Posted March 18, 2009 Report Posted March 18, 2009 so im looking to build a new enclosure for my 2 18" sundown nightshades and im looking for a good box design thats tuned to 34hz and im willing to paypal someone money for a awesome box design. Also im wondering how far apart to make the cuts and how deep to make them to bend the kerf for the side of the box where it bends in for the port baffle.

Torres Posted March 19, 2009 Report Posted March 19, 2009 i was just lookin into kerf cuts for a little box for an E8 for my PC. i did a lil practice piece and i had mine .5" apart, and about 15/16 through the wood. if not closer. 1/8 will probably crack, as it did on me but i'm not sure if it was for sure 1/8". might've been less actually.
