jay05 Posted March 20, 2009 Author Report Share Posted March 20, 2009 well i had a bad day today........i was driven to work and was bumpn a lil bit and one of the subs started maken a funny noise so i turn it off and play it again and well when the sub would move it sounded like everything was crunching together so when i got to work i pushed on it and its completely froze i over excurted it and probably was gettn to much power from that 3000d..... but the good news is is that a local shop nw audio has a recone set for these but i gotta get both of them done cuz the recone is for the rockford team rf subs and it is a good thing i gotta get the other one done as well cuz the one that didnt blow wouldnt of lasted much longer cuz when i looked at the coil on it it was half way burned kansas city Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I can give you guys a hand on the 28th if you still need it. ya it will be ready for the 29th its just now i cant get deadner in it at all for the time being but the good news is, is that now ill kno where exactly the subs stand and they are gona reconed with the rockford team RF coils and ill probably have the only power series hx2's with the power series motor and and the team RF coils and when i talkd to jerry yesterday from NW Audio he told me hes gona try and get the subs as close to a dual 1ohm voice coils as he can that way i dont have to wire to a .5ohm setting again kansas city Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
