wL<3bass
$210 a month I'm 18 drive a 97 Blazer LS 4x4 full coverage with every option available (towing, stereo coverage, rental car, etc.) and its in my name not my parents. But I also have all the discounts available such as good student (gotta have a 3.0gpa), safe driver (no tickets), multi-car discount (if more poeple at your residents have the same coverage provider even though its a different plan). So yeh state farm FTW and my agent more ftw saved me another $400 a year b/c most agents tag on this little thing for under 25yr old drivers called "high risk" and she took it off b/c she has known my mom for like 40yrs Quote Vehicle: 1997 S10 Blazer 4dr 4X4 Exterior: Rear End Bagged, Black Grill, Lifted 2" Amplifiers: Rockford Fosgate T8004 & T10001bd Batteries: 2 Stinger SPV35, Kinetik HC2400 Electrical: Big 3, DC Power 290amp Alternator w/ MLA at 15.5v Enclosure: 4.2 ft³ @ 33Hz 84sq.in. of port (20sq.in. per cube) Headunit: Eclipse CD3200 w/ 80G iPod Mids/Highs: Rockford T152s (a-pillars), Rockford T162s (doors) Subwoofers: 1 15" Fi BL Fully Loaded Wire: All 1/0g Kicker Hyperflex My YouTube Videos My Fiberglass A-Pillar Build My "Seamless" Looking Box Build My DD1508 T-Line Bandpass Build "Seamless" w/ Acrylic Windows (for '05 TrailBlazer) My Stealth 8" Fiberglass Build (for '05 TrailBlazer) My Build For A Friend's '08 Cobalt 15" BL Sealed Off From The Trunk My feedback/references... redbaron80
Well... Long story short. Im looking at getting a new car but everytime I look up insurance prices I get quotes for $400 a month or more, no matter what car it is. I have never been in an accident or got a ticket. Is it just THAT expensive for full coverage on a 20 year old for a brand new car? SHOOT, 400 is NOTHING :hairtrick: . I bought my 2005 Altima brand new, I was 24 at the time, and full coverage cost me 485 a month. Finally went down to a reasonable amount in 2007. Quote Official Scores at the Dash. and YES. white4d96
My brother has speeding and racing tickets up the @$$ and pays less for liability insurance than I do with a clean driving record. He's 22, I'm 17. Quote Too many projects, too little time...

brewer_brewer
i'm the same way. just because my car says SVT on it my rates were 450 a month when i was 18. now at 20 it's 275 a month, but going through a local agent. find a local insurance company and you will save alot. i use corker associates, it's a local lawyer that does car insurance and it's full coverage just the same a progressive, geico, etc. saved me alot a month!
