dynodan9 Posted April 1, 2009 Report Posted April 1, 2009 Im looking for a 2 12's with good sound quality. Ive been looking at the RE Se 12's and the Fi Q 12's. I really like the re's but havent heard how they are on SQ but I am open to anything right now. I still want it to be as loud as possible, but im not into spl as of right now. give me some opinions Quote
troy Posted April 1, 2009 Report Posted April 1, 2009 fi q Quote retarded build on the way..... 2000 bagged s10 2 hdc3 15s aq2200 aq4x90 stinger/knu wire optima batteries 220 amp alt fosgate hu/mids and highs
wL<3bass Posted April 1, 2009 Report Posted April 1, 2009 (edited) I love my RE SE 15s but if you looking for more power handling grab the Q otherwise the SEs get pretty loud for what they are and still retain great sound. edit: You may also want to take a look at the AA Havocs.... troy Posted April 1, 2009 Report Posted April 1, 2009 also jl has great sq but honestly not worth what you pay Quote retarded build on the way..... 2000 bagged s10 2 hdc3 15s aq2200 aq4x90 stinger/knu wire optima batteries 220 amp alt fosgate hu/mids and highs
dynodan9 Posted April 1, 2009 Author Report Posted April 1, 2009 Yeah everyone says that the Q is the way to go but, alot of people seem to say that it doesnt handle the highs very well (60hz and up). What is the price range on the AA chaos. Ive been looking everywhere but cant find one. Quote
ChiTownTBird312 Posted April 1, 2009 Report Posted April 1, 2009 if your looking for sq...why would you want highs like that? Quote Matt W. 1996 Thunderbird LX Sport 4.6 new system soon...still deciding on what to get.

What is the price range on the AA chaos. Ive been looking everywhere but cant find one. they are def wrong, and hell my components almost reach that low. the Q has plenty of upper end response comparable to the SE would be the DC level 3 i also like diamond d9s, and idmax's Quote
brewer_brewer Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 the IDMAX's have the some of best sound quality i have heard out of a sub that can still get loud. the se's sound great but the q will get louder and has great lows. i haven't tried the havoc's but i presume they are the same as the q's. also look on ebay. sometimes you can find some adire brahma's on there. they get stupid loud but sound GREAT. they are my favorite sq woofer. loganberry Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 the d9 is very accurate and sounds great, i was disapointed in its loudness, but your looking at sq not spl Quote My F-150 Build GET ON THE BANDWAGON what if they tried messing with the amps when the subs werent louder hahah jk
wL<3bass Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 From what I have heard if you can find and '06 RE XXX they got stupid loud and sounded amazing.
