LT.Smoke Posted April 5, 2009 Report Posted April 5, 2009 Knock on wood the cops in my area dont give a f**k about bumpin they would rather pull over imports,trucks and motorcycles with loud pipes than to bother people wit systems unless they are just being stupid and bumping through neighborhoods and what not. I have had local cops around here compliment me on how good my shit sounded. They are laid back as hell around here the only time i have butted heads with a cop bout my system was when he pulled me over for speeding and told me to keep it down to a respectable volume. Only real restriction is you cant be a convicted felon and must be in a sane state of mind. Other than that its just some small classing. I asked him if I could check and he told me to remain in the car. When he went to run my info, I got out and looked seeing the light was on and working. He got out, pulled his gun, made me lie down and called another unit out. Guess who it was...my buddy. He reemed that cops ass and they let me go. Other than that its just some small classing.just an fyi - georgia doesnt have a "concealed weapons permit". we haved a "georgia firearms license", and we arent restricted to only carry concealed like you florida guys. try walking around with a gun on your hip for everyone to see. i get cops responding to the "man with a gun" calls all the time. i show them my permit, everythings fine. the sheeple never think im legal. Ex. rock hill, lancaster, columbiaits 50 feet where i live. i used to pull up behind cops at red lights, wait till i stopped, and let it rip. if one would have got out, i would have simply said "but you never heard it from over 50 feet away. i was within 10 feet of you".what i dont understand, is that if its illegal for any speaker system to be heard from over 50 feet away, why dont they park out behaind a mcdonalds, and write mcdonalds a noise violation ticket for that loud ass speaker at the drive thru. Isn't it funny how you can visibly carry a firearm in public after taking a couple classes and getting your firearms license, but our friend over here is being forced to pay money to listen to music at a reasonable volume? I mean its apples to oranges, but still pretty fucking comical. I would feel extremely safe seeing a complete dumbass walking around in public with a weapon on his hip.
