jonathancullen89
im sure someone can give u a good box design, all u gotta do is ask xD. if it where me i like bigger boxes, id do 3.5-4cu^ft tuned to 35-38hz. ive had good luck with slot ports, there is a box calculator somewhere on the web that u can put in your max dimensions and it will give you a layout of all the sizes the mdf needs to be, it also allows you to adjust tuning. google re box calculator to find the calculator. good luck xD Quote 1992 cavalier build 1992 blazer s10 kenwood cd hifonics hfi2500d 6 soon to be 12 12" hifonics hfi12d4's shit ton-o-wire Blurred Vision Audio Team SMD feedback/refs. clicky!-
BanginOnABudget
the recomended size for a ported enclosure is 1.8 cubes. 4 cubes is way too big for the space he wants to take up. i did a new design for ya. want the cutout list, or do u want me to modify the old box's shape a lil? this one is tuned to 33 hz, i thought the freq. responce was 40+ not 30+ the cutouts on that are the same size that would be on an actual box. Edited April 6, 2009 by BanginOnABudget Quote im taking out my passenger seat, battery is disconnected, going to unwire and take out the three amps, take out the 70+ lb box, then the platform so i can crimp 1 wire. What do you mean about modifying the old box's shape? I'm lost...lol EDIT: I would honestly rather build this box since I don't trust myself to be able to make those 45 corners...
