Guest Posted April 9, 2009 Report Posted April 9, 2009 What would happen to your rides if you didnt have any. just seems like a thing to think of if you didnt install deadening products. Quote
BassAddict32 Posted April 9, 2009 Report Posted April 9, 2009 i guess it just depends really. if you have a small system, it won't do much. just make it where there is no rattle and a bit louder inside. now if you have a bigger setup and you want DBs, then it helps with DBs and to make sure you don't tear your roof apart like some people. so it just depends on the setup. Cos' you've installed so many systems and done so much dynamatting... :01nocomment8so: Less rattles, sometimes less dB, especially in Street class cars. Primarily I just use it to improve the midbass from the front speakers. Otherwise when it's cranked it's going to rattle regardless... Quote 10.x volts fo' life!
thehoe92 Posted April 9, 2009 Report Posted April 9, 2009 I haven't installed any type of deadening except like 5 pieces of duct taped stacked on each other to put on the a-pillar because it was pissing me off so much but it seems for my tahoe it would stop the plastic panels from flexing against the metal and making annoying sounds. it also acts as a weight in some cases so it is harder for bass to flex the metal. St.Ides Posted April 9, 2009 Report Posted April 9, 2009 and X3 & X4 dont know about 'damage'. as stated before, if your system is "small" the only thing thats going to happen is annoying rattles. personally, i suggest investing in some type of sound deadening material Quote TNCB ....my damn room was shaking, im like wtf is this how am i gonna die jakin off to vida guerra?
