No Such Thing As A Rockford T15k

I had a good laugh the other day. I went to a car stereo place the other day. This guy has been in business for at least 25 years. He sold out, retired young, drives a Ferrari blah blah. He had almost $1,000,000 in stock when he sold his building so he has another store to sell it off. He knows his stuff but this one.

I was telling him about Steve's setup and he cut me short saying "there is no such thing as a T15K". I told him the wattage and that it runs about $25,000 for it and the amp is huge. I kept telling him yes, he said no,lol. He said he was going to look into it, I told him to call right then and there.

So I guess that even though this guy is a car audio dealer, he doesn't know everything. I was going to buy speakers off him but seeing as I can get them $70 cheaper online, I will do that but I can't wait to see him again, hopefully he looked into it.

That happens a lot, the only people who are really in the know are the ones who are either on forums, or go to a lot of real comps.

Out of curiosity, where are you from?

I was talking to poker, I had a friend a while back who had "pokerchamp" as his IM, it would be kinda cool if I remet him on this forum and he was into bass. Worth a try.
