BigJohnny Posted April 19, 2009 Report Posted April 19, 2009 I use this material at work called Nyplex, its a rubber/PVC blend, really squishy, it also comes laminated with stuff called suedeX, which is a really soft plush material but just fuzzy..... Its used for orthotics and absorbs odour. I've been considering wrapping my boxes with it, its expensive, but when your not paying for it, it doesn't matter it only comes in black though.

I had a big ass box of the new "air dry" cast material and it never made it to my new house, friggin movers. It was perfect for odd shapes and dried hard as hell.
BigJohnny Posted April 20, 2009 Report Posted April 20, 2009 the sheets of Nyplyx w/ SuedeX are about $45 each I believe, and they are only about 36"x36" ..... hella expensive. But the material itself when glued properly will stick to anything, it stands up to being walked on for years and still looks new, just compressed and because its rubber, it stretches pretty well. However its hard to get around corners without buckling.
BigJohnny Posted April 23, 2009 Report Posted April 23, 2009 Its actually $37.70 for a sheet thats 36" by 45" .... I forget the dimensions, but i remember the price..... expensive shit.
cqtama Posted May 7, 2009 Report Posted May 7, 2009 shag rug it could :hairtrick: itsself lol. but you could wrap it in prettymuch anything. i like to just use carpet but i like the vinyl wraps too.
