Hey all,

I figured this would be the best forum to post this on. I keep reading on everyone recommending equipment to fellow members and never see anyone talk about Soundstream. I have been running Soundstream products for years and have alway been absolutly awed by them. Hell they even won the 6X9 shootout The Ultimate Shootout Especially you west coast members. Hell if I lived out there I would be at their doorstep daily. Just curious what's you opinion on them?

my opinion is that its a damn shame that such a great company had to be bought out by kthe likes of a power acoustik.

ewfwewncw and rubicon days they were great sounding amps, now im rather meh about all the TRA and PCA lines id still sport a XXX line if i had the need though.

Ought to check out the TRX, PCX, and Rubicon lines since Grizz Archer (Engineer they hired from MTX) has come into the game at Soundstream. The TRX 4.420 won the cleanest sound contest and their new line up rocks. Also did everyone hear that they bought PPI?

you mean that power acoustik bought ppi. ppi will probably never be the same as the art series days. and the new rubicons imo are just a plow to get people to buy somethign that looks like somethign of old that was great.

trx and pcx im guessing same amp lines picasso and tarantula with minor internal changes and a new case like every other year.

hell id mess with them if they were dependable on the daily grind and did the power needed day in and day out. but after my debacle with ALOT of pca amps its real hard to throw money at those again unless im getting a hell of a deal.

Sorry Bro,

Epsilon corp (Also PA) bought PPI and Epsilon is the parent Co of Soundstream. Here is the article on it. I happen to know this for a fact, Grizz Archer (Soundstream Engineer) has been telling me about the ne line up he is designing, and wait til you see the new Technology coming with it soon. It's revolutionary don't want to give it away to other companies. Oh and I am running a new Rubicon 4.600 and the clarity is mind blowing. I have never had a cleaner amp sound.
