Nightshade Posted April 24, 2009 Report Posted April 24, 2009 Kian while I agree with you very much about the NSB's being great batts they are not very affordable. I believe that the question asked was best bang for the buck. If that's what your looking for then I'd say the Deka G31's that can be had for right around $200 shipped from remybattery.com. They are actually louder than a Kinetik 2400 and cost less too. Their specs are something like 1100 CA and 100 AH. Not a bad battery at all for the money. Myself I run 2 XS Power D3100's and also a Deka Intimidator G34 under the hood. My voltage sits around 15.8-16.1 when I first start the car and consistantly charges to 15.1-15.2 after listening to the stereo for a while. Ram Posted April 24, 2009 Report Posted April 24, 2009 They are actually louder than a Kinetik 2400 and cost less too. Shouldnt it be....'helps you get louder'...since a battery is not in itself loud..... jus saying. Quote

No, I'm actually saying in a drop in test a Kinetik 2400 was used and achieved an spl of X, then the battery was switched out for the Deka g31 and the spl went up by .4 db. Therefore the Deka is louder. It's just spl talk about batts and is how us competitors talk about which battery is better. soundzright Posted April 24, 2009 Report Posted April 24, 2009 Deka is the cheapest new, I would go with either kinetik and enersys odyssey as good choices too Quote
