You dont need a phase switch, you dont need a polarity change, No bass is going to be thrown off. SQ wise you will never hear a difference. SPL wise you will never hear a difference. Just do it already. Actually it'll change your tuning slightly. With less sub in the box, less displacement, it'll lower your tuning.
