BanginOnABudget Posted May 12, 2009 Report Share Posted May 12, 2009 the neighbor knew that im into stereos so he gave it to me, it was in his jeep. looks old as hell, maybe 15 years, style wize i mean. appearence is amazing tho. not a dingle scratch. no faded paint. and how did i get iot free? well. he said it was broken and wouldnt turn on. the fix cost me how much?? $0.15. it was the FAULKING fuse behind the wire harness its kinda cool cus my main amp just bit the dust, so getting this free deck kinda counter balenced that. think i scored?? Quote im taking out my passenger seat, battery is disconnected, going to unwire and take out the three amps, take out the 70+ lb box, then the platform so i can crimp 1 wire. Almost as bad as those fegs that put those horns in their grills and roll down the street distorting the block.... 1990 Jeep Cherokee 2 Dr. Big-3 in 0g on Stock Alt. BanginOnABudget Posted May 18, 2009 Author Report Share Posted May 18, 2009 what kinda headunit is it?, imo pioneer can do some good work n has been in the game for a good min so i say score, whats the serial on it? does it play mp3's? and if it has a p in the serial it will work with ipod adapter or thats what it says in the ipod manual the sticker was all scratched off prolly due to taking it in and out of the sleeve. he tried to make it work in his boat but he didnt know it had a blown fuse the umpteen times it was removed, and yes, it plays mp3s. no ipod hookup possible unless they have a disc ipod adapter <.< 1 aux out, havent checked the voltage on it (if thats even possible) i might use it for a radio in ma garage, the one i have now dosent pound hard enough.
