BEllithorpe04
Hey guys, haven't posted a build log yet, so i figured its time to do it. What i have goin on is a new box for my 4 kicker cvr's, 32 wide, 34 deep, and 15 tall. This is all going in my 1997 Pontiac Bonneville. So far I have all the trim panels painted a metallic blue, all stock AC Delco components for now, custom rear speaker pods that need some work, but i might be going with a shell back there instead of fixing those. Heres the pics of those But anyway, i did some calculations, and with the displacement of my port, and subs, the box should be around 8-8.2 cubes. The box is a common chamber box with a 6x13.5x10.5 tuned to 38 hertz. I started it yesterday but finished late and couldn't get figure out how to use photobucket lol. Heres some pics of the start first side and bottom glued and screwed back side on port done and screwed on, held at 90 degrees with some corner brackets the new box next to the box i made for my brother's l5 box, his stuff was ordered a month ago til we cancelled it, and now the wiring and amp should be here tomorrow and the subs should be here saturday All pics are on my cell phone, its much easier for me to post with it. But ill try to use my digital cam as much as possible Quote 1997 Pontiac Bonneville Black on Black on Black 15" DC Sound Labs Level 5 w/ quad coil in a T-Line tuned to 35 hz 7" Jensen VM9311TS Touch Screen Flip Out w/ J-Link Blue Custom Trim Blue Custom Fiberglass Rear Speaker Pods Autotek Mean Machine MM2000.1 1/0 Knukonceptz KLMX Rockford Fosgate Twisted RCA's 2 Audiopipe Anl fuse holders w/ 200A Kicker fuses 2nd battery (Soon to be an Odyssey D3100) Dynamat Extreme Bulk Pack Custom False Floor 15% Tint All Around Custom Painted Stock Rims My Build Log Tailights 15" Lvl 5 DC T-Line Build

BEllithorpe04
1st sub in, almost creamed in my pants.... Caulking in temporary until i get some more fiberglass, and im also thinking about doing some 45 degree corners and then this summer the fleckstone will go on, like in 2 weeks because thats when my school ends as well as baseball. I won't be double baffling because i do not have the room for another .75 inches or else the box wont go in lol and the dimensions are from the outside of the box btw Quote 1997 Pontiac Bonneville Black on Black on Black 15" DC Sound Labs Level 5 w/ quad coil in a T-Line tuned to 35 hz 7" Jensen VM9311TS Touch Screen Flip Out w/ J-Link Blue Custom Trim Blue Custom Fiberglass Rear Speaker Pods Autotek Mean Machine MM2000.1 1/0 Knukonceptz KLMX Rockford Fosgate Twisted RCA's 2 Audiopipe Anl fuse holders w/ 200A Kicker fuses 2nd battery (Soon to be an Odyssey D3100) Dynamat Extreme Bulk Pack Custom False Floor 15% Tint All Around Custom Painted Stock Rims My Build Log Tailights 15" Lvl 5 DC T-Line Build
97maxima
just add some bracing since you could not double baffle it. id imagine that enclosure flexxes badly Quote American Bass*DC Power
BEllithorpe04
i will, it doesnt flex that much actually, but i still want to add some bracing because the subs arent at full tilt, but im so impressed where its at now, its mindblowing lol my friend has a TL so ill try to get some numbers soon, i hit a 137.4 with 3 of my 4 cvrs in the individual boxes which was just dumb anyway, but ill get on that asap Quote 1997 Pontiac Bonneville Black on Black on Black 15" DC Sound Labs Level 5 w/ quad coil in a T-Line tuned to 35 hz 7" Jensen VM9311TS Touch Screen Flip Out w/ J-Link Blue Custom Trim Blue Custom Fiberglass Rear Speaker Pods Autotek Mean Machine MM2000.1 1/0 Knukonceptz KLMX Rockford Fosgate Twisted RCA's 2 Audiopipe Anl fuse holders w/ 200A Kicker fuses 2nd battery (Soon to be an Odyssey D3100) Dynamat Extreme Bulk Pack Custom False Floor 15% Tint All Around Custom Painted Stock Rims My Build Log Tailights 15" Lvl 5 DC T-Line Build
