Decaf
im pretty partial to 28-35hz tuning... i play way to much low end music to go higher... 31-32hz is a pretty good number... if you have stiff suspension with lots of power tune higher for the added gain, otherwise leave it low

loburbon
35 to 37hz is perfect for a daily driver. most subs will play below there tuning, so you would still be able to hit the lows like you want. but you would still be able to play rock and other music where to higher bass takes over. 2000 gmc yukon 4 sundown Zv3 15's 4 dd m2a's kenwood kdc-x994 2 batcap 4000's 1 batcap 2000 dual alts. 154@37hz and climbing http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3231683 http://www.myspace.com/torque150
wL<3bass
My old box was tuned to 30-31hz with two 15" RE SEs (22hz Fs)....cause I wanted low end...but my truck likes to peak high....this time I'm using BLs (33-34hz Fs) tuned to 38hz and this thing gets as low as you can go....my old setup I was disappointed with the low end...but my new one plays the lows with AUTHORITY and all the high notes and transient from low to high very smooth....also plays the fast double bass very well but that's impart on more efficient woofers and more motor strength. edit: Honestly though I would plug it in to WinISD or BassBox Pro if you have it and look at the response curves. 01xtreme
I like the lower tuning, my setup is tuned to 28Hz, and I have no problems "hitting" like some of you people are saying. Tuning lower is usually going to give you a flatter response, so it wont sound as peaky. I've have boxes tuned anywhere from 40Hz-28Hz, and I much prefer 30Hz and lower. My System: Pioneer AVH-P3200BT 4-Dayton 7 inch reference series (front doors) 8-Onkyo 3/4 inch tweeters (dash) 1-Sundown Audio 100.4D (mids/highs) 2-18" BTL's (for now) Crescendo 3kwp (for sale) Complete rebuild coming soon... korey_hofer
32 is not going to give you a flat response like he said he wants you will need to tune higher so when cabin gain amplifies the low notes they don't take over previously known as wenn_du_weinst aka fucking internet coward supreme. I talk shit on other forums like a little bitch and hope i don't get caught out on the street.
