BanginOnABudget Posted May 27, 2009 Report Share Posted May 27, 2009 keep ur eyes on craigslist and ebay in ur local area. i had a guy who broke out ma friends window, and took his $700 head unit, was a total stealth job too, dogs didnt bark, motion sensor lights never went on, and the dumbass put it on craigslist. like...how much of a moron can you be?? anyway, i would recomend, when you get another setup (which will hopefully be free for the most part) i would say, spend an extra $50 and get chains, and safety nuts. most cars radios can be seen from the bottom of the dash, or from a taken out glove box, and find a way to bolt in ur head unit with as little chain as possible, so if the DO manage to rip it out, theyve destroyed it, and its useless. after that, get a FUCK load of safety nuts and screws from parts express, and gorilla glue them in. whats insurance saying about all of that??? im taking out my passenger seat, battery is disconnected, going to unwire and take out the three amps, take out the 70+ lb box, then the platform so i can crimp 1 wire. Almost as bad as those fegs that put those horns in their grills and roll down the street distorting the block.... 1990 Jeep Cherokee 2 Dr. Big-3 in 0g on Stock Alt.
