i just got an amp its a Lanzer Vibe 430 and i hooked it up to my AudioBahn AW 1006T Flame Q Car subwoofer 900w

both coils are hooked up

i had a 250w amp before this one and it hit no problem with both coils connected.

all of my knobs on this amp are turned to minimum

basicly when i put my volume at 35% on my deck it hits for 3 seconds then my sub flexes wierdly and then the protect light turns on. i checked all the cables and there fine i just replace the remote wire with an 18 gage.

any suggestions would be awsome! will post pics soon.

What head unit?

Check and make sure you have a good ground (contact bare metal on the frame)

Double, even triple check that the wires are all run correctly and there are no shorts (I know from experience that sometimes in the excitement of getting stuff together it is easy to oops some wiring)

Otherwise, maybe the amp has an issue.

Too many projects, too little time...

im taking out my passenger seat, battery is disconnected, going to unwire and take out the three amps, take out the 70+ lb box, then the platform so i can crimp 1 wire.

Almost as bad as those fegs that put those horns in their grills and roll down the street distorting the block....

I like lanzar, just not so much on the vibe series, except the Vibe1200D. I can almost bet it's an impedence issue.

How did you hook it up? One coil to each bridged channel pair?

no i got a wireing diagram heres the link http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_c...sp?Q=1&I=22 i did the first option plus the speaker is runnin of 18 gage wires which i think is the problem. i need an opinion but you had an awsome idea about One coil to each bridged channel pair.
