mxman38
Do you think 211 square inches of port area is to much for a 13.5 cube box for 2 18's? This is after displacement. and i know to stay within 16 per cube... but why does meade run his so small? whats the advantages/disadvantages? Ben Building
Where ever you got 211 from is on point because that's about what you are going to need. Well within acceptable margin for 2 18s in a vehicle. :hairtrick:
Ben Building
Oh, I forgot: The advantages to using a smaller port in the same-size box is that you get to use a shorter port. This saves on total enclosure space, but there is a huge trade-off in both port noise and efficiency.

Ray
i dislike the 5x40 more than the 211sqin. I run 160sqin on 15cuft 2 18's.
