cant really tell from the pic but it looks like the ac comp

I know a lil about everything so dont call me Mr. Know it All.

turn the ac off, look at the component, then turn the ac on (with air on obviously) and see if it looks different.

ac compressors have a clutch on the front that doesnt spin when the ac is off, but is on when the ac is on.

that is your water pump if you want to know where the ac compressor is get a haynes or chilton car manual for your car. it has anything you would want to know about your car

Find out where it goes too, if it goes to your steering rack, then its your power steering pump, if its your A/C compressor, then lines will be running to your radiator up front. Cant really tell form the pics.

Definitely not the ac compressor...that is usually a large unit with two metal lines coming off of it.

Doesn't really look like power steering either because that should have a metal line off of it too.

I'm with them..most likely water pump.

x3 on the water pump.

In the first picture you see the hose coming out of the back? If that were an AC or power steering hose, it would have a much stronger fitting than that little metal clamp type one. It would have a compression fitting or something b/c of the high pressures that an ac or ps pump put out. Water pumps just cycle the water and therefore don't need the really strong fittings.

Just follow the hoses like wierdguy75 said.
