baron_of_bass
hey guys im thinking about starting a build in my 1996 honda accord. im leaning towards 2 18s in a wall, but im having trouble deciding what 18s to go with... i am really thinking about 2 18" level 5s, but someone was trying to convince me to go with dd 9500s. Now i cant choose between the two. im going to be using the car as a daily driver. each woofer should be getting 5k and im planning on tuning at about 33hz, but i still cant choose between the 2 woofers. I was just wondering what you guys would go with and why? and if you guys have any other suggestions for woofers they would also be appreciated. thanks guys! Kian
Thats a lot of power. I would say DD. if you were running less power i would 100 % recommend the DC subs Quote --------------------------------------------------------------- Club 150 (15x.x) Youtube Future Build: 1x 15" T3 TSNS 2x Sundown Audio SAZ3000d Parellel strapped

oldschool
i would guess with voltage drops and the fact music is dynamic the dc subs should not have a problem. Decaf
dc has cheaper recones too for when u eventually fry the shiznit out of one of these id love to just have a maxximus "laying" around, lol if its daily and u arent trying to sqeeze every tenth of a db out of the system dc will be cheaper all around too, plus custom dustcaps and dont forget the SEXy DC girl!! Siete_Cinqo
blowing shit up is of no concern. we can figure to back down on it if he must. But I think Max's (818-bass-hrtz-818) main concern is really what sub would do better on the lows or perform better overall at that power?
