Leon
Mine was 4 Autotek 12s with a power hungry Autotek amp. I don't remember exact size, it has been a while. All of this was in a Ford Escort P.O.S. One speaker was worth more than the car. My most memorable experience was at a competition. The car flooded out and died right as I pulled in for my turn. Everyone was laughing. The judge asked if I wanted to try with engine off. I said what the hell I came this far. As soon as the first note hit the crowd quit laughing. It hit 137.9 which ended up being second for that class. I was pleased! lmao Epic WIN!!! TΣÅM DΣÅDLY HΣRTZ
TheSundownFire
Two Audiobahn 10s a Pyramid PB1010GX "1200" watt amp. I got all of it from my cousin who pulled it out of a car he bought. I "ported" it myself. Blew one sub, then the other. The amp literally burned up on my back seat. 1999 Pontiac Sunfire Alpine CDA-9886 Sundown Audio SAZ-1000D Sundown Audio SAX-50.4 Rainbow SAC 265.25 Components Image Dynamics iD12 Optima Yellow Top SQFire FTW. R_Mac_1
My first system was in my 90 Cadillac Eldorado. It was: Kenwood Headunit (don't remember model, it was probably about $120 or so new) 2 Alpine Type E 12's single 4 ohms Profile AP1200 amp @ 200rms x 2 @ 4 ohms Prefab Q-logic box (you could run sealed or remove plugs and put in cardboard tubes for ported...I ran them sealed...at 1.75 cubes per sub!) All stock interior speakers This was about 5 years ago or so. I still have the Profile Amp (not using it currently, but it still works well) and one of the Type E subs (it's in my Rainier in a ported box now). I sold the other Type E to my buddy who is still using it to this day. 2002 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi Pioneer DEH-P6000UB Alpine SPX-17REF 6.5" components (active) Sundown SAX-50.4 Sundown z15 (3 cubes @ 35 hz) Sundown SAX-1200D 2006 Buick Rainier CXL AWD V8 Stock Bose system 12" Alpine Type E in aeroported box Profile AP1000M
