kingsuv
I've done a few multi-sub setups here and there. Heres the latest. 4 Audiobahn Immortal 15's Then we have 12 PowerBass Xtreme 12's Then we had 16 Powerbass Xtreme 12's The Wife's daily driver. And another box I messed with for awhile Quote Designing, building, and shipping boxes. Yahoo IM - kingsuv00If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out. not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.
Slinky
i might try a 8 10's setup..... don't know.......... and is that tape on your port? Yeah, the carpet i have is a real long thick shag carpet and it was blowin in and out of the port wich was seriously restricting airflow, so i just took some roofing felt and stapled it down and covered it with tape and painted it. it looks ok, im not too big on looks anyway. It sounds good and thats what the point of the tape was in the first place. Mr. 973808
Damn your setup is hot! But why your ports seem like "standard" port sizes? What is your box tuned to? Quote THE GRADUATE 10:18:2007

kingsuv
any reason why they are in a cross shape? I wanted to keep the subs as close together as possible. The port go back quite a bit. and how doe sthis look for 8 12" subs, front row inverted, push pull design. tuned to aprox 40hz Nice design. might be something worth looking into. SPLGEO
I might as well do it....... get 8 12" boss r-12's and hook them to the colossus..... should be the same cone area as 3 18's Quote 1995 Geo Prism .
