Ordering motherboard and CPU for the carputer as I type, getting an Asus 15.2 wide screen LCD tomorrow, planning on removing the case and painting to to match the interior. Thanks guys. It's not as clean as I would like. There were about 40ish 1/8th metal studs from where the woodgrain was attached (car was a woody) had to grind them all, fill, sand, prime, sand fill prime. most were pretty good but some are low. There were multiple bad rust spots that I fixed enough to where they could be sealed. For Krylon satin black it looks damn good. When I get ready for full paint in the summer, chrome, trim, and everything will be stripped. I'll be doing door jambs and all then. As for the system, the 12's are taking a beating. The amp has no subsonic, so I have to be careful. Been ok so far. I'll try and get a vid or two up tomorrow after work.
Mrbubbles00482 Posted December 29, 2009 Author Report Posted December 29, 2009 Projector housings came in today. Mobo and CPU for Carputer monday HID tracking still hasn't updated Computer monitor this afternoon after I sell this 0/1 and fuse holders. Not bad for $38 came with some H4 halogens too.

Ya, last project I did was my 4 door cutlass and that was custom door panels. throw some tint on the windowns ...... deaden the hell out of her ........ thhrow on some 22s and put 6 15s in her and call it quits. Tint is expensive as fuck for this car...its going to be a good minute for it, and deadening the roof comes first...reason being why I haven't put the headliner I just did back in. Rims will be black 24's with a chrome lip more likely. 4 18's is the setup coming. I went and looked around today for some random stuff getting price on wiring to do the carputer and what not. I'll most likely hook the power inverter for the monitor into the OPUS power supply so it functions in unison with the computer....I'm a little irritated about the mobo and CPU shipping...ordered Sunday afternoon and didn't ship out till like noon today. If it had shipped yesterday it would be arriving Friday and not 3 days later...

WRONG. Tracking Yesterday from New egg said shit would be here the 4th of Jan. Well it showed up today somehow. Shipping shows 3 day select UPS, but it was only 8 dollars shipping? what? OH well, not complaining, going to set things up now. Going to home depot to get panel board and rubber risers to build the "case" so I can set everything up.
