MORE or LESS bass can be produced by the direction of the sub in the box?? Would it depend on the box or?? ThANKS... Quote 06 SCION tC
s1795so2 Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 It all depends, the only reasons to invert the subs is to A)do something different w/ your install; B)Look cool; and C) Get every last ounce of usuable volume out of your box; or D)ALL of the above. I don't really think ther is any other advantages or disadvantages to inverting them, but by my personal preference I would rather have them mounted regular. -Steven- Quote
kingsuv Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 The biggest disadvantage I would see is the basket disrupting the air movement from the cone. Possibility giving undesired waves and or sound. Quote Designing, building, and shipping boxes. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.
Eddy722 Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 One advantage would be no terminals or holes in box to get wires to amp! Quote
