littleitaly1990 Posted June 25, 2009 Report Posted June 25, 2009 go get a DMM and use this to set your gains.... untill you do that this is a moot point to keep telling you what to do bro... just go check your stuff *edit* you want to set your subsonic to 35-40hz, if you have it set to 70 then anything under that is pretty much free airing it which can cause damage to the sub... his low pass filter is set to 70, not subsonic...if subsonic was it wouldn't play anything at all...The subsonic should usually be set at around 30 hz, depending on box tuning. However you are probably clipping like mad from the sound of it, so do what this chart says and tell us what happened. A vitrolic, megalomaniacal sadistic psychopath.

However you are probably clipping like mad from the sound of it, so do what this chart says and tell us what happened. i know the low pass filter was at around 70... and the subsonic is set to 24db but this amp lacks a bass boost and everything like some amps i have used in the past but i tried hooking up multimeter to it and i dont have a test cd but put a song where bass almost hits all the way through song and the multimeter read 19 at the way i had it set... i know your supposed to do what it says but i was just wanting to know what mine was currently doing...

ps6435 Posted June 25, 2009 Author Report Posted June 25, 2009 burning it now and i will test it... ok i set the amp to where it said to stop around 32... which is like around 520 watts... and its at the same spot as it was before... so i guess the problemo would be in the box...
