Torres Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 yeah it's not a matter of just asking them and seeing you have a decent ride and them saying 'ok yeah sure here ya go'. you pretty much already gotta have something going for you. already have something invested. if it was that easy, everyone would be doing it. and probably 99% of the time there's a contract and/or stipulations you have to follow in order to have them on your side. so IF you found a company that would sponsor you, you're most likely going to have to sign a contract of some sort, and still pay out of pocket for their product. it wont be free.

(no offense) DAVID i totally agree...i really do ur not gonna go thru life on a free ride you have to earn everything and no ones just gonna hand u subs and parts and money for ur ideas you gotta work for thema nd get exposure learn about the stuff and be knowledged and then you go and find some places and if u get it u get it but they aint gonna give u fo free ur gonna have to pay them and go to shows use ur gas and everything correct ? I am tryin to do something i am going to i dont deserve it right now u aint being mean or anything being truthful i have to earn it and learn and go to some shows and get exposure...nothings free in life...ive learned it... correct is this kind of wat u mean ?

(no offense) Just take this word of advice from David. He is a co-owner of an audio company like many other manufacturers on this site. What he said applies to every single other company out there. It usually helps when you already run the companies product prior to asking or receiving a sponsorship. Your best bet for right now is to just end the subject and after you actually have a system or exposure worth taking a look at, maybe approach them at that point in time. You didnt even have a system yet or a car for the matter of fact and your already wanting free stuff. Spend coupls gs easily and plenty of years changing it up and you might possibly get a sponsership. Dont get ahead of yourself. KingJames6 Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 Well...i like the 2 15"s and 10"s idea and stuff like i said idk how it seems bad for company and me or w.e...but yeah im listen to everywhere and take their opinion into matter.... i have thought all not mix matching or w.e...i have thought of alot.. and yes i do actually have audio...had and took out waiting to get rest or w.e and license... and idk...if i dont get sponsorship idc ima do it all on my own like everyone started out... my system and truck will look and sound awsome at end... idk why yall like downing it.. ? and im not looking for free handouts.. ?? i have said i am and have been doing everything on my own i was just saying later on down the road....and was wondering about it cuz didnt kno u could sponsor this and crap ok...dang

After you build your system get around to some very small/new companies and see if you can sway them. I talked to companies several times a day for weeks and went through interviews and stuff but still got turned down. After I finish this build though I am going to try again.
