I dontknow about the cataletic converter.....never had one go bad.... ChevyBoy Posted March 24, 2007 Report Share Posted March 24, 2007 sOUNDS ABOUT RIGHT, HER FILTER WAS UNDER THE TRUCK ALONG THE FUEL RAIL THOUGH....SO i CANNOT BE TOO CERTAIN.f'in caps lock... i hope her fuel rail isnt under her truck. that would be very odd. the filter on that truck is right under the drivers side door tucked into the frame rail. and if you pay $75 for a fuel filter.........then that sux to be you. I thought your carb was freshly adjusted? Has anything about it changed? Everyone above is right about changing the fuel filter, it could simply be clogged. Yeah under the truck.....the price for her truck was for a new filter install and tank flush.....
