Next time just go buy another Astro and don't kill the sexy build. As far as the windshield you should totally build a steel frame and install a Polycarbonate windshield, maybe 1½" thick. =)

But in all seriousness, make sure the next windshield you put in it has an equal layer of glass on both sides of the plastic in the middle. A lot of glass companies have a thicker layer on the outside than the inside, and as soon as that inside glass starts to let go, the windshield is done. Keep looking around, Yes, You can find them for astro vans.

I just went through this whole thread and i didnt believe what i was looking at building from scratch then tearing it down then building it agian this is just way to amazing, i give BIG props to the guy building this van
