bump bump for an oldie but goodie.

Just joined Athens Gym here in Eldersburg...Definitely the place I have been looking for! Maryland's strongest man belongs there, and christ is he big lol...

But me and my friend are lifting religiously now for 3-4 months to get ready for spring. FINALLY NO MORE SHITTY YMCA with wrinkly old ladies staring at you every time you pick up a weight.....

I cant wait....started today at 10...best thing thats happened to me in a long time.

got 350 easy today on the squat , and just missed 300 on the bench yesterday....both at 160lb bodyweight. im going to try again on the bench here in a couple weeks. my goal for this year is to get 1000lb+ lift, 300lb+ bench, 300lb+ deadlift and 400lb+ squat. currently im at 275lb+ bench(i just barely missed 300), 315lb deadlift and 350lb squat, so im getting closer

havent tried to max on bench in a while but last time was 295... i did 305 a couple times a while ago but..

im just tryin to cut as mush as possible for Cancun

yea, since iive been in the gym...ive been like the biggest pussy ever for some reason...maybe its from not lifting for 2 yrs...i was straight strugglin with 185...

definitely ghey...

havent been lifting heavy in a few months because i had two jobs and worked 12 hours a day...

but i quit the second job...so im hitting it hard on monday...

for some reason...i was stronger on db then bb.....got 110 dumbbells on incline bench and 95s on dumbbell shoulder press a few months ago...hoping to surpass that....if everything grew like my legs/shoulders/back....then id be set...chest and arms really struggle...i mean i make gains in weight..but size is always a struggle for chest and arms...weigh 190 right now...was probably 210 when lifting heavy...im also 5'6ish...5'7 on a good day...so im not meant to be lean...ive come to that conslusion...

just ordered a couple hundred dollars of protien, carbs, NO, creatine, and multivitamins...

im gonna be taking :

optimum nutrition:

whey

casien

glycomaize

multivitamins

controlled labs:

white flood (N.O.)

green bulge (creatine)

so here we go!!!!!!!!!!!!

i likes me some audio stuff...

Only take animal pak and optimum whey. The rest comes from all good natural food. I hit the gym 5 days a week on top of Army PT every morning.

6'2" 215 (low-mid teens body fat %) Only thing I take is animal pak and GNC's whey protein line, it's cheap and does just as well IMO as more expensive proteins.

Bench - 345 x3 reps, don't max out anymore due to shoulder/elbow surgery

Squat - 525 x3 no max out

Dead Lift - 435 x3 " "

Those numbers were a good amount higher when I was still playing college baseball, used to hit it hard on a daily basis. My legs used to be absolute monsters and my squat, dead lift and leg press numbers used to be on par with most of our football team's linebackers.

i just dropped a ton of weight (at least in my opinion) this summer. i was 265 last year and came back to school and im not 217. ive been lifting for about 6 months. i take GNC mega men sport, and isopure whey protein and thats it. i have made a lot of progress, but i still have a ton to go, but heres a picture for those that are interested i take progress pics every few weeks.

like i said i have a lot of work to go, but im super proud of the changes ive made because i was always the fat kid and i finally got things to turn around. hopefully within the next 6 months ill see more changes.

i bench with dumb bells for the most part and i can get 115 in each hand x 6, incline 100 in each hand 5, and i decline 235. im still working my bench up, i wasnt even able to bench 95 lbs consistently before this past summer.

today at the gym i did chest and got

235 incline x3

245 flat x3

265 decline x3

i dont usually do bench i usually use dumb bells so i was pretty happy about these numbers
