opinions opinions.

I would say no you haven't reached groundpounding status yet.

multiple woofers, lots of cone area, and slumpin music in the mid 50's

and again with the headrest thing what is that proving?

to be honest with you this is the most relevant score out of anything.

do you drive around with your head shoved into the kick with the door open or your face smashed up against the dash with all your windows rolled up?

if so then those numbers make since to you.

otherwise, i wish we could all go back to measuring at the headrest. the only reason why everyone measures at the kick and dash is to get a score that is competitive and on the same page as everyone else.

if you can do a 147, you should be good for a groundpounder. everyones idea of this would be different. thats why we all dont have 4 15's

hey fellas thx for the support the other reason i give headrest scores is because this is where the scores are taken from by MECA.

Its also off even using a calibrated ac the score can be off as much as 6db even more with uncalibrated ones.....and if you say its the "high-end" one.....then you would realize its and Audio Control AC190......and I metered a 151.2 on the dash with severe voltage drop.......which i doubt I anywhere near a 151......maybe a 148 with my setup.

edit: and I would barely consider myself a GP when I can be heard 4 blocks away and set car alarms off 2 blocks away.
