VancouverIslandBass Posted July 17, 2009 Report Posted July 17, 2009 So excited... just got my four 15 alphas v.2 in the mail along with the new d9 amp which does over 5,000 watts rms @ 1ohm. These subs are the upgraded Flat wind voice coil option...It increases the RMS power handling by 500 watts. This is a big upgrade... I was rocking pioneer 12's haha. The whole set up is being thrown into a 2000 GMC JIMMY. I started a box but then soon stopped and reazlied that I'm going to build a big ported wall and tune it at 32-34hrtz. Build is starting soon so check back lots.

How did the alphas sound off one D9? I know they can handle way more power but 5,000 + Watts rms is good enough for me... in the future i'd like to get another D9 amp... do you have any videos from when you had one d9 running the subs?

I'm just waiting on my 270 amp h/o alternator from the usa. I think the 4 alphas will blow my mind, considering I thought my two 12 pioneers in a sealed box were loud! And yes I know I need a haircut... but im not a hippie. haha.
