2000LaDe Posted March 30, 2007 Report Share Posted March 30, 2007 as the title says. today i took out my Treo SSX's and the big ass box and put my MA Audio 1800xl in my single Treo ssx18 box in the back now. powering it off the old Fosgate 1501bd. well to my suprise i hit a better number sealed on the dash than i did in the same box with the Treo on an mtx 1501d. Vehicle... 2000 Cadillac Escalade box specs... 4 cubes tuned at 34hz amp specs... 1500 at 2 ohm sub specs... dual 4 wired to 2 ohm with the Treo my best sealed on the dash was a 143.2 today i decided to mess around and meter it and well to my suprise i hit a 144.5 with my cheap MA Audio 18 that people said cant be loud. on music i did a 144. so keep in mind the more expensive a woofer is doesnt mean its louder if your goin to be loud on a mic. heres the sub Proof for the non-believers.
