yes, the more bracing the better as long as it dosnt take up too much airspace, not gonna harm the box

2x4 will take up a good bit of airspace. I'd go with allthread or dowl rod.

Nice work man, I followed your other build and it was pretty good but I defanitely like this better. That sucks about your system though. Keep up the BAMF work! By the way I was wandering where you can find the seals for a cut through or blow through? I cant seem t find them anywhere and am wanting to do a cut through with my s10.
