roscoe1129
your best choice would be a "crx" box subs up and port back if your going for spl in an suv Some people need a sympathetic pat... on the head...with my hammer Scientia est Vox "In Nomine Patris et Filii et Spiritus Sancti" DONT BE AFRAID TO USE THE SEARCH BUTTON!!! sean 371
Downfiring's fine for like ext cab trucks. It actually sounds real good because the subs load off the floor. It gives a real even and full sounding bass. A couple links to some box builds: Tahoe Box 1, Tahoe Box 2, Nissan Titan, VW GTI, Mini-Bump, Hummer H2, Ford F-150 My own car builds (current setup --- under construction): Overall Thread, Kickpods, Dash, Back Doors Subwoofer Wall

Slinky
Downfiring sounds really good in trucks and it really seems to shake things a lot more than a normal box.
