Difference Between 2 Ohm And 2.67 Ohm

If an amp produces 1000 X 1 @ 2 ohm, given the electrical system is in check, what kinda power should be expected at 2.67 ohms?

that would be almost impossible to tell without loading the subs and testing the amp in person, my GUESS would be somewhere between the 4 ohm load and the 2 ohm load....

using simple math to get an estimate:

1000*2 = 2000 at 1 ohm

2000/2.67 = 749

749rms @ 2.67 ohm

but like I said, this is a very rough estimate

It's real rough cause there's a lot more into it then just doing the math on an ideal system, Other things to consider is box rise, and cabin gain.

These will change the resistance of your ohm load, as the air is is moving and pressurizing.

The other thing to look at is heat, as you heat your coils this will also change resistance
