Kasey
IIRC it is the resonant frequency of the speaker Edited August 8, 2009 by 916PublicEnemy2 Quote "Audio is not a hobby it's a lifestyle" _____________________________Refs_1_Refs_2_____________________________

Beanz
lower the number then means it would before better in a lowtuned box then and higher means it'll perform in a high tuned box i think i got it now,. Quote That's why they don't deliver. Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do. Andrew2944r
lower the number then means it would before better in a lowtuned box then and higher means it'll perform in a high tuned box i think i got it now,. Lower the Fs the better for daily, but Fs will drop when a sub is broken in. Typically a higher Fs of 42+ makes a good SPL sub. kirill007
lower the number then means it would before better in a lowtuned box then and higher means it'll perform in a high tuned box i think i got it now,. Almost true, but a lot of other things come into play if a sub likes to go low or high. Quote Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for. Beanz
well i see how a higher fs would be good for SPL since youd tune the box higher to get higher numbers.but i see now its all starting to come together.
