First i had it hooked up to a lil 1200 watt pioneer amp for about 3 months then to a sundown 1200d for about 7 months and now a sudown saz 1500d for a couple weeks. When i had the 1200d this sub hit hard then when i got the 1500d and the big 3 done it hit WAY harder. Before i hooked the 1500d up to it the sub was very loose and broke in but now when i feel it it feels firmer and springy. It dosent hit as nearly as hard as it did when i first got the 1500d OR 1200d. Im pretty sure theres some kinda mechanical problem with the sub now but it still plays. Just not as loud. Anybody know what else it could be? ive narrowed it down to bein the sub. Its a STOCK BL 6 Sundown X 15s 2 Sundown NS1 V2s C Pillar 4th order Bagged Suburban on 24s http://youtube.com/tlee333

I would say your first problem is not getting it fully loaded and trying to put 1500+ watts on it. if you are certain its something with the sub take it out and check each coil with a DMM to see what the ohm loads are. also push on the sub and listen for any scratching. but honestly its most likely because you are used to it. happens to everyone thats why car audio is so addicting you need to get louder otherwise you just get used to it. Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple

With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.

Beanz Posted August 12, 2009 Report Posted August 12, 2009 yeah but didnt he say that he hd the stock version of the BL and not hte fully loaded? That's why they don't deliver. Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.
thehoe92 Posted August 12, 2009 Report Posted August 12, 2009 yeah a non fully loaded BL could not take 1500 watts for very long. they are rated at 1000 watts RMS and around 1500 if done right fully loaded. Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple
