give me your thoughts on runnig 1/2 ohm

I would run it @ 1ohm, have seen a few friends AQ's @ .5 go up in smoke.

then i would need 1 amp for all four,,wouldnt be enuff power,,,or four of the amps,,i can only afford two for now,,, i have four duel 2 ohm subs

I run my aq1200 at 1/2 ohm but I get little to know voltage drop. It fried once but I did not have the highoutput alt or the second battery and only one run of 1/0 and saw crazy voltage drop. As long as you're electrical can handle it you'll "probably be fine".

well you would need more batteries and maybe upgrade that one stock alt.If i remember right those Aqs have like 200 amps draw so youll need maybe one or two more batts with another upgraded alt to run both amps at 0.5 ohms

well the stock alt isnt seeing any load other than the truck,,,,but the 240 amp alt is only seeing the system,,and thats where the two 1800 batts are

well the main reason i didnt tie them in was,,,that i wanted to avoid the whole headlight and interior light dimming thing
