mr.p Posted September 28, 2009 Author Report Posted September 28, 2009 yay free bumps alt that welded itself died, so we put a ad244 that is vented and doesnt soak up the heat so it wont melt through wire casing, also the plastic cover on the back will protect from arcing out. reason for 2 stock alts? a 130 and 176, we are trying to bolt on another alternator so we are using stock alts for mockup and bracketry, 2 big 300 amps or 270 amp dc's wont keep up with the 2 mmats, so were trying to get 3 alts total which would be able to holdup to the 700 amps of draw jeep is nowhere near done. i really would like to see 2 big mechmans with the adjustable reg. for the system only. but we shall see DCAUDIO BALLS DEEP
