Onto the topic of tethering your 3Gs for internet...here's the way I did it

You download the file on the link onto your mac, hook up your iPhone to your mac restore it and it will enable the tether feature in the network settings on your iPhone and you can tether over bluetooth or USB.

Steve put the new itunes on that thing and your computer, you can have all your music on you main windows machine and then simply get on itunes on the Mini and browse your main library and simply drag and drop all the music you want to your mini. Its very useful I do it with my main windows to my mac laptop
