did you cut the hole to get the batts as close to the truck as possible and make loading them easier?

loading easier, wiring easier, not being visible with a roll pan was the main thing......you just dont know until you pull your bumper off and that god aweful tow-hitch what i am talking about. With a bumper and tow-hitch you have more options for SURE. Ive been thru this 3 times now with two caddy's and now a tahoe so i know what my options are with a pan......not many. Remember, im not doing 5 batts im doing 10 so i gotta make room anywhere i can.

I think he meant just put the batt rack under with out the hole but I think they would stick down to far

ok everyone i welded up some supports and the legs.......kept popping breakers FTMFL!!!! talk about making a good weld look like shit when it stops on you mid-weld 3 times in one bead GRRRRRRR!!!!!!

anyway, im all cleaned up and clocking out for the day, goin to get my next Tatt.....ill post pics or a vid of whats next

trust me i know what i needed to do.....i mean i could have spent tons of time TRYING to get 4 up there and then try and wire them which SUCKS, and then when i was done i could have glassed in a lip on the roll pan - i chose not to. The only person that knows what i need to do or dont need to do on this project is me -

yeah bro i went under my buddies yukon last week he has the stock exhuast and a bumper and tow hitch and his rack is basically done but there is a few more things he is gonna do before he bolts it up
