ive always wondered, what does the pigment do other than change the color? if anything

Pigment in ANY situation......even your easter-eggs, has no purpose other then changing the color. Sometimes changing of the color is useful for no reason at all other then what the next guy VVV (maxim) says.....it just looks better then the ugly brown.

If I remember correctly, he stated in on of his videos that the pigment was basically because he got sick of plain brown resin. I think it looks better too. Just my $0.02

i think it looks better too....in this situation, using white fleece, its REALLY helpful because you get a more even coat.....you can see the resin and how much your using VERY easily compared to the not using any pigment.

Oh, side-note, i let it dry all night since i went to bed after i finished and in the morning, it was very nice! Solid!! im on my way to having SICK door panels :D ! I have lots of glassin', sanding, muddin', sanding ahead of me but the stressful part is getting the shape you want in a "shell" form......once you have that its mostly labor from hear on out! :)

as stated, Pops is here from Florida so i wont get much done but he wants to watch me glass so ill get a little more progress tonite :)

damn she's coming around nice

haha got your ear protection on, your hearing is nothing to be fucked with

now i understand steve..the last couple days i have been building boxes for some friends of mines and i gota say those saw's,jig saws, circle saw or whatever the name is.(forgot LOL) are no joke. those mofos gave me a little ring on both of my ears for 4 hours straight. so ear protection is neccesary.

but anyways doors look sick steve!..cant wait to see it finished.. :clapping:

Is there a reason for using aluminum foil vs any other type of matirial on the blanks or is that just the matirial that you are familuare with?
