1992Chevy K1500 Posted August 19, 2009 Report Share Posted August 19, 2009 I just started using google sketchup. I have to say it's awesome. But I have 2 questions. 1. How do I make the walls transparent without having to erase a line? I want to be able to see the inside with all the lines in place. 2. Can google sketchup tell me the internal volume of my box? I have an odd T/wedge/square/rectangle/rhombus type box (it has all of those shapes in it). My comp setup (Not bad for what it is): HP Compaq Presario V6120US laptop with: 15.4" widescreen AMD Turion 64 X2 1.6GHz processor 2x1GB stick DDR2 SDRAM (667 Mhz) Seagate Momentus 500GB SATA HDD 128MB shared video memory Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit 12 cell Lithium Ion battery (actual battery usage time: 6 hours) What it does: On a USB 2.0 Wireless card Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I made one of my dimensions on my box too long and unfortunately it happens to be one of the most complex pieces of the design. I found one part I can shorten by the needed amount buy I need to know, is ther any way to move objects around as one piece?
